Originally from Snohomish, Washington, Renee Prins graduated summa cum laude from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and minors in Spanish and chemistry.
Dr. Renee Prins has been consistently recognized for excellence throughout her career. She provides patients with the most advanced cancer care, using the most up-to-date scientific findings and standards. She is fluent in Spanish and an expert at understanding patients’ concerns.
Dr. Prins has earned awards and honors at some of the most respected universities and medical schools. She graduated summa cum laude, earned membership in a national medical honor society and was awarded special recognition as the top medical student at Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
She is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Medical Association, the Marion-Polk County Medical Society, the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and Salem Cancer Institute.
Dr. Prins and her husband have four young sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, hiking and camping.
